The Long Island chapter of OESP completed a project for Oil Heat Cares in Mount Sinai, NY on November 9. An elderly homeowner’s boiler was leaking severely and needed replacement, but they lacked the financial means to buy a new one.
The Fairfield County chapter learned of Beverly Wright, an elderly woman in poor health, who found herself without heat and hot water in her residence.

Elaine Pickerel, 87, has lived in Warren, NJ for 63 years. Her husband, Everett, passed away in January 2022. Mr. & Mrs. Pickerel were very active in the local community, supporting veterans’ groups and many others that needed assistance.
