Elaine Pickerel, 87, has lived in Warren, NJ for 63 years. Her husband, Everett, passed away in January 2022. Mr. & Mrs. Pickerel were very active in the local community, supporting veterans’ groups and many others that needed assistance.
Long Island Chapter member Kevin McClorey met Elaine Hansen of Bethpage, NY when servicing her heating system. Coincidentally, Bethpage is the hometown of Oil Heat Cares co-founder, Dan Holohan. Ms. Hansen is an elderly widow with fast progressing multiple sclerosis. She was in need of a new boiler and did not have the finances to afford it.
