June Palmero of North Haven, CT is a senior citizen and widow with medical issues and expenses. She was working at a supermarket when the pandemic hit and she could no longer continue working. Between medical expenses and a lack of work, she used up her savings. When her old dry base boiler failed, she could not afford to replace it.

Will Fleming from the New Haven Chapter contacted Al Breda, who brought the job to Oil Heat Cares. Mark Santangelo from Energy Kinetics secured the donation of the Ascent boiler. Sippin Energy Products donated parts, valves and piping for the job. The volunteers included Mark Santangelo from Energy Kinetics, John Dunleavey from Carlin/Hydrolevel, Adam Schmitt and Al Breda from Sippin Energy Products. Cory Cosgrove from Dan Davis Sales also provided Caleffi parts.
