Central PA Chapter Project 4
It takes teamwork to get the new boiler into the house. The Shipley Energy Crew takes a break to show-off the new Burnham Boiler and even Judy Garber got a chance to get into the act – just say cheese! The finished project – a work of art – thanks to Shipley Energy, Mrs. Villa will be warm and cozy this upcoming winter.
October 3, 2009 Central PA Chapter came to the rescue of Mrs. Kathryn Villa of York, PA. As with many companies, Shipley has had a couple of names since their beginning, as Mark Callender, Shipley states, you can tell when a specific customer began with us, as with Kathryn Villa, an 87 year old, refers to Shipley Energy as “Shipley/Goodling” and she has called it that for 55 years.

Six employees volunteered to install the new Burnham boiler. They included Barry Jacobs, Gary Owens, Dave Wagman, Brock Rinker, Adam Redkay and Mark Callender. Some of the guys even gave up the 1st day of bow hunting just to help out. At the end of the day, Mrs. Villa was again able to keep her house at 82 degrees.

Even the family showed up – including her daughter and son from State College, PA. The day began with breakfast and Mrs. Villa’s son helped keep the guys going by offering to purchase pizzas.
