Shawn Cornut, President of the Stepney Vol. Fire Co. #1 Inc. contacted Al Breda, Sippin Energy, for a new hot water heater for their firehouse. Being a non-profit organization on a budget, this was an unforeseen expense.

Before Oil Heat Cares stepped in, their gas water heater was giving them trouble. It was proposed that an indirect water heater off the twin Burnham V7 boilers should be installed. The boilers had been set up with primary-secondary piping and a Tekmar 252 control thus a 30 gallon indirect would be sufficient for the showers and rest rooms for these volunteers.

Friday 4/25/08, Mark Collins, Burnham; Jon Kazmercyk (installer from Sippin), and Al installed a Burnham Alliance 35 gallon water heater. This was a small way of paying back the men and women who put their life on the line and keep this town safe.
