Sometimes OHC simply helps with the repair of a system; such is the case for Mr. Dennis Pickerell. Mr. Pickerall has a serious health problem and Paul Cuprewich, Garden State Chapter, asked if we would support this project. Paul described it as an emergency situation.

Dennis Pickerell is a neighbor to Jim Froehlich, Environmental Excavating. Jim asked Paul to check the condition of the existing steam boiler. Upon entering the home, Paul immediately smelled the odor of raw oil. Paul identified the problem and within a couple of days, Paul and one of the other Woolley employees, Joe Fealey went back to replace the boiler flue pipe, draft regulator, main line air vents and return piping out of the rear of the boiler.

Paul sums up this project best, “this may be a small Oil Heat Cares Project, but it is as much needed, important and appreciated as an entire system”.
